A look at the spectacular Danzante Bay Golf Club at the Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa at the Islands of Loreto in Baja, Mexico. Golf and travel writer Ted McIntyre toured the layout—Rees Jones’ first golf course in Mexico—during its official grand opening on Dec. 8, 2017. The layout combines a remarkably diverse terrain, from canyons and arroyos to cliffside holes, to beachside dunes, with Danzante Bay and the Sea of Cortez and the picturesque Sierra de la Gigante mountain range providing the backdrop.
